COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Patriot Family Homes is a fully integrated short-term rental company proudly Veteran-owned and operated. We are currently headquartered in Chattanooga, TN, but also have many remote and travel roles, as well as field teams that include Employee and Contractor team members who live in the markets where our houses are located across the Southeast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southwest.
We currently have 60 employees who manage a portfolio of over 550 short-term rentals.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a full-time position whose primary role would be servicing cleaning, laundry, and inspections for our short-term rental homes throughout the market. As a Housekeeping and Quality Assurance Specialist, you are a key member of the team providing quality care for our properties. You are self-motivated, dependable, and have a great attitude. This is hard work, but can be very rewarding for people who take pride in their work, like to work as a team, and stay busy. This position has the potential for promotion to a senior-level position. Driving is required. Company will provide all standard supplies needed for the position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform cleaning, laundry, and light maintenance in short-term rental homes as instructed by your supervisor.
- Ensure each unit meets the highest cleanliness standards and is delivered on schedule, as determined by your supervisor.
- Conduct thorough inspections to verify the completeness of unit cleanliness and inventories, documenting any discrepancies.
- Conduct quarterly walkthroughs of properties to ensure listing accuracy and property standards are aligned.
- Maintain adequate inventories of housekeeping materials and supplies, monitoring usage and promptly reporting shortages.
- Adhere to the company's standardized process for reporting damages and supply needs, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.
- Report all maintenance and repair needs promptly and accurately
- Obtain supervisor approval before making any financial expenditures related to cleaning supplies or equipment.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and detailed wipe-downs, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication of cleaning schedules with the supervisor, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.
- Interact with customers and staff in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner at all times, maintaining a positive representation of the company.
- Such other tasks as the company may request from time to time in connection with the management of the properties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Capable of working variable hours with a diverse team in a local and remote work environment
- Positive and timely communication with internal and external audiences to provide accurate progress on tasks to complete actions
- Adept at learning new platforms; experience using STR platforms a plus
- Must be available to work weekends as needed
Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of residential property cleaning experience is preferred
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Positive Attitude
- Team player

Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $20.00
