POSITION SUMMARY:

Would you love to transform beautiful vacation rentals into spaces where guests can experience the best of what our island offers?

If so, we're looking for someone trustworthy, capable of light maintenance (i.e. changing a lightbulb), who is meticulous about details to clean our 4-bedroom home and 1-bedroom apartment in between guest stays.

How you’ll spend your day

Your day starts after our current guests have checked out. Your first step will be to open our app, where everything is tracked and a cleaning checklist is available. You’ll then do a quick walkthrough of each room, checking to ensure there’s no damage or anything is missing or left behind, and then thoroughly cleaning the space from top to bottom.

To do this effectively, the app we’ll require you to use is called Breezeway, which will provide you with a detailed checklist to help you make sure nothing is overlooked and the home looks like the previous guests were never there.

Never used an app like this before?

No worries. Following the instructions in the tutorial video during your orientation will help you get the hang of it. We’ll also be available to answer any questions you may have throughout the process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Thoroughly clean the entire unit, including floors and all surfaces
  • Clean the kitchen, including the appliances, and empty the dishwasher if necessary
  • Inform your Manager if you are running low on any paper products or amenities
  • Work consistently through the housekeeping cleaning checklist
  • Manage linens
  • Ensure the outdoor furniture and outdoor areas and clean and tidy
  • Any other tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to communicate well with others
  • Able to operate a mobile app called Breezeway
  • Experience in inspecting/cleaning vacation homes is not necessary but a bonus.
  • Ability to perform light maintenance duties, i.e., change a lightbulb
  • Able to work efficiently and complete tasks in time for the guests to arrive

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: We pay by a system called "piece rate." That means we pay per home, not per hour. Ranges from $90 - $275 based on size of property.

Schedule: Must be available between check-ins.
