At Stay Minty, we are dedicated to providing exceptional vacation experiences in Cosby, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and the surrounding areas. Our unique glamp grounds offer guests a fusion of boutique hotel luxury and the charm of rustic camping. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laundry Attendant and Night Lead.
This position will primarily be based in Cosby, TN, with the potential for frequent travel to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. As the head of our laundry facility, you will play a vital role in maintaining pristine linens to ensure a comfortable environment for our guests. Additionally, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests arriving at our glamp ground who may have questions, require assistance, or have issues.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Laundry Attendant and Night Lead, you will oversee our laundry operations and provide exceptional guest services. In the laundry facility, you will handle washing, drying, sorting items for dry cleaning, and packing linens to ensure our accommodations always deliver the highest level of cleanliness and comfort. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for guests who may need assistance with check-in procedures, and you may also provide information about our facilities and amenities. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Laundry Operations:
- Wash, dry, and fold linens, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
- Pack clean linens, and organize them for the next day's turns.
- Identify stained linens and report damaged linens that must be removed from rotation.
- Sort and categorize laundry items based on color, fabric, and cleaning requirements.
- Operate laundry equipment, such as washers, dryers, and ironing equipment, following proper procedures and adjusting settings as necessary.
- Monitor linens and supplies inventory levels, and communicate restocking needs to the appropriate department. Perform inventory counts and work to ensure we are fully stocked.
Guest Services:
- Greet guests upon arrival if you see someone checking in and provide a warm and friendly welcome.
- As needed, assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Provide information about our glamp grounds, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guests' stay.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Availability to work primarily in Cosby, TN, with potential frequent travel to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.
- Previous experience in laundry operations or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle guest inquiries and requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for guest check-in and record-keeping.
- Reliable transportation to commute to various locations within the designated area.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly: $18.00 / hour
