As we grow, we’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team and help us take our business to the next level.

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you will report directly to the owner of the company. You will be responsible for driving business growth, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will work alongside a dynamic and passionate team that is committed to doing whatever it takes to meet the unique needs of our homeowners and guests. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient management of daily operations to deliver the highest standards of service and exceptional experiences for guests and property owners
  • Establish personal credibility with property owners, team members, and vendors through trust, transparency, strong work ethic, and frequent communication
  • Participate in owner-acquisition initiatives to achieve strategic growth plans
  • Manage and inspire a high-performance team, driving career development, and ensuring high levels of job satisfaction
  • Oversee talent acquisition, orientation, and onboarding process for new employees
  • Encourage collaboration and foster a sense of unity among team members, motivating them to achieve our collective goals of exceeding the expectations of our guests and homeowners.
  • Support team as the escalation point for guest and homeowner complaints
  • Drive the company's financial performance by providing strategic oversight, expertly managing budgets, and formulating sustainable growth strategies.
  • Participate in owner-acquisition initiatives to achieve strategic growth plans
  • Promote service culture and will be instrumental in helping ensure the effective implementation and adherence to our brand standards while maintaining each property’s distinctive identity
  • Ensure the operational success of all properties by maintaining them in impeccable condition, while working towards achieving their financial objectives, maximizing profitability, and optimizing owner earnings
  • Become the subject matter expert on all properties. Plan, schedule, and supervise, projects to meet property requirements, budget, and time.
  • Foster strong relationships with the local community, effectively representing the company with a professional demeanor and presentation.
  • Establish performance accountability with regular documentation and evaluation, helping teams achieve their goals and track KPIs.
  • Provide innovative/creative thinking and strategies to differentiate the company from the competition effectively

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of proven success in leadership positions within the vacation rental or hotel Industry
  • Previous experience as a GM is required
  • Exceptional management and leadership skills
  • Strong financial acumen showcasing a consistent track record of successful budget development and exceptional financial management
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's overall vision and goals
  • Ability to identify and address operational challenges, resolve conflicts, and make effective decisions
  • Established capability to assume leadership and take full responsibility to achieve organizational success
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to multitask and switch gears quickly without hesitation or frustration
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure properties are well-maintained, guest and owner needs are met, and operational processes are executed flawlessly.
  • Commitment to satisfying the needs of homeowners and guests, with a desire to assist in company growth
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Ability to create positive experiences in every interaction and represent the company with professionalism and integrity
  • Sofware knowledge including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and PMS with the ability to quickly learn new software
  • Data Analytics experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Capability to reach overhead and below the waist.
  • Regular pushing, pulling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $130,000 - $160,000, determined by experience, achievement, and bonus

Schedule:  

  • Regular business hours with availability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
