We are actively searching for a forward-thinking and seasoned Brokerage Director to pioneer and lead our in-house real estate brokerage and sales platform, specifically emphasizing the Hudson Valley, Catskills, and Hamptons regions.
The Brokerage Director at Red Cottage will be pivotal in establishing, leading, and managing the internal real estate brokerage and sales platform specific to the New York market.
In this role, you will strategically develop the brokerage division, ensure adherence to New York State real estate laws and regulations, and foster business expansion through effective leadership and market analysis. As the Brokerage Director, you will play a crucial part in defining the company's position in the New York real estate industry, necessitating a profound comprehension of local market dynamics, adept client relationship management, and a dedication to upholding ethical and professional standards.

While we are looking for a Licensed Broker in New York, we will also consider a Licensed Real Estate agent willing to obtain a Broker license in New York.
- Strategic Development: Establish and oversee the internal real estate brokerage and sales platform under the Red Cottage brand in New York.
- Compliance and Legal Acumen: Ensure adherence to New York State real estate and brokerage laws and regulations, including licensing requirements, transaction procedures, and ethical standards.
- Leadership: Build, train, and lead a team of real estate professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, ethical practice, and continuous learning.
- Market Analysis: Conduct a thorough market analysis to identify New York real estate market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and advice on real estate transactions.
- Business Growth: Drive business growth and revenue generation through strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and network expansion.
- License: Active New York Real Estate Broker License is required. We will also consider applicants who hold a current New York Real Estate license and can obtain their broker's license.
- Experience: Documented, progressive experience in real estate brokerage, with a proven sales and team leadership track record.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of New York State real estate and brokerage laws, market dynamics, and industry best practices.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Advanced Degree: Master's in Business Administration or Real Estate.
- Local Expertise: Extensive experience in the New York real estate market.
- Network: Established network of contacts within the New York real estate industry.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: OTE $200,000+ (base + commission)
