JOB DESCRIPTION:

As our Director of Sales and Marketing, you're more than just a leader; you're the chief storyteller for the Daugherty Management brand. You’ll utilize your expertise in digital marketing, from fine-tuning SEO strategies and orchestrating AdWords campaigns to launching e-marketing initiatives. Working hand-in-hand with Business Development, you'll also play a pivotal role in expanding our portfolio, driving direct bookings, and cultivating customer loyalty.

Then, rally your team for a brainstorming session come midday or spend time tweaking our website to ensure its content is optimized for conversions. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the Daugherty Management brand of luxury vacation rentals in the Sandpoint region, spearheading marketing campaigns, especially during off-peak times, and managing property photography, descriptions, and promotions.
  • Lead the marketing, business development, and guest services functions, managing a team of 3-5 members. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and retention for all marketing-related roles.
  • Oversee our website, www.StaySandpoint.com, ensuring regular content and imagery updates. Analyze and optimize OTA marketing strategies, prioritizing platform advertising decisions.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to acquire new properties for our portfolio and actively market the current ones.
  • Grow and manage the customer database, focusing on building a strong return/loyalty customer base and optimizing guest reviews through guest services.
  • Design and implement the Daugherty Direct program to boost direct website bookings, keeping track of its performance and efficiency.
  • Design and oversee 'add on' sales such as paddle board rentals, boat rentals, private chef services, and other guest amenities, ensuring seamless integration with guest services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree and 3+ years of progressive marketing experience in the hospitality/travel/real estate sectors required - educational requirement may be augmented by relevant industry experience
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Bonner County, Idaho
  • Experience with Google Adwords, Analytics, MetaTags, Metadata, Keywords, and adding them to websites, and running ad campaigns
  • Previous experience with e-marketing campaigns
  • Social media experience - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc
  • Experience managing customer loyalty programs is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Annual Salary: $67,000 - $73,000 based on experience and achievement with an OTE max (on-track earnings) of $88,000 based on performance.
