POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Director of Operations, you'll be the vital link between our homeowners, vendors, and team to ensure our operations run like a well-oiled machine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervise up to 7 people in the field and 5 people remotely. Host regular 1:1s and team meetings remotely and in person.
  • Monitor daily reports, guest and owner feedback, and metrics to identify strengths and weaknesses across the team and portfolio and provide coaching and training as appropriate. Strengthen task and visit readiness and train employees across handyperson maintenance and repair disciplines (electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the director and CEO to develop and implement operational and market-level projects.
  • Work with operations to execute tasks, provide follow-up to owners, schedule the appropriate recurring tasks, provide accountability in task completion and suggest tasks and systems to prevent specific issues from ever occurring again.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years minimum experience in home/property maintenance with full understanding of how Airbnb and vacation rental bookings operate.
  • 5 years minimum as a manager of teams. Must have proven ability in hiring, training, and retaining employees.
  • 5 years minimum in roles engaging with end consumers, homeowners, renters, or similar
  • Must be familiar with with Airbnb, Guesty, Breezeway, and Slack. We can teach one, but not all.
  • Ability to drive in personal vehicle to be with the team on job sites throughout desert region
  • Proven leader, coach, and home maintenance expert.
  • Highly organized and disciplined, able to leverage processes and enforce protocol to keep multiple projects, people, and tasks organized and on time.
  • Able to anticipate issues before they happen and plan contingencies.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 based on experience and achievement

Schedule: This role is generally a Monday thru Friday, 8 am -5 pm position, Time will be divided between the field and the office, with “the office” being wherever works best for you.
