Do you want to work in paradise, collaborating on creating beautiful interiors?

White Sands Hospitality is hiring a Design Assistant to work collaboratively with our Design Manager on all the daily tasks necessary to continue creating stunning interiors for our guests.

Your days will include creating finish schedules, spec books, measuring, and progress reports. You’ll also help to track products from orders placed and assist in helping clients within our rental program.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about design, hard-working, attentive to details, and takes initiative. We offer an excellent benefits package and the opportunity to grow in the design and hospitality field.

  • Create finish schedules, spec books, measuring, and progress reports.
  • Drive to various job sites from Mexico Beach to St. George Island.
  • Assist the Design Manager at occasional meetings with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with the Design Manager and Rental Teams to assist in helping clients in the rental program.
  • Track products from orders placed.
  • Direct furniture installers during on-site set-up, hang artwork, drapes, and arrange accessories.


  • Must have an eye for detail and a basic understanding of design principles and elements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite, Adobe, & basic knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Possess knowledge of commercial vs. residential finishes and materials as well as furniture/fabric knowledge.
  • Experience with kitchen/bath/lighting products and installation.
  • Strong multitasker and communicator
  • Able to lift 20-50 lbs.
  • Must have reliable transportation in order to travel from various job sites in the Mexico Beach area to St. George Island.


Hourly Wage: $17.00 -$23.00 / per hour based on experience and achievement

Bonus: Bonus opportunities based on individual performance.
