As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our financial activities. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately record and classify financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Update and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are correctly posted and organized.
  • Regularly reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, issuing payments, and monitoring outstanding balances. Also, handle accounts receivable, including invoicing customers and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Generate financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis to provide management with accurate financial information for decision-making.
  • Monitor and track expenses, ensuring they are appropriately authorized and coded to the appropriate accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting principles, and assist with financial audits as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in bookkeeping, a related financial role, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant education and mathematical skills will also be considered.
  • Proficient in Accounting Software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, essential to perform daily tasks efficiently.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for recording and reconciling financial transactions.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact with team members, clients, and vendors effectively.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
