Cabins for YOU was voted one of the Top 50 vacation rental property managers in the world in 2020 and we are currently searching for an Assistant Director of TN Operations to join our growing team!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary objective of this position is to carry out the Director of TN Operations goals and policies by managing the general direction of CFY Operational Departments which include Housekeeping, Inspections, Maintenance, and Laundry. Working directly with the Director and department heads, this role will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining daily processes and procedures to ensure CFY Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily processes and procedures for the Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, and Inspections departments to ensure they are adhering to CFY standard operating procedures
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and conducting evaluations on departmental managers and employees as needed
- Communicate with all department leaders about property statuses and issues that need to be escalated
- Act as a representative of CFY management when needed for owner or guest issues
- Coordinate with the Director of TN Operations to ensure we have adequate staffing levels for each department based on seasonal demands
- Conduct and attend all regular departmental meetings as well as manager level meetings
- Monitor a KPI rating system for each department setting goals for managers and employees
- Work with the Director of Operational Excellence to develop and implement new strategies and procedures
- Work with the Senior Leadership Team to understand relational, financial, and brand core values
- Assist Director of TN Operations in the development of annual budgets with the involvement of COO
- Perform other duties and tasks, as assigned, to meet business needs on a daily basis
- Review guest and owner feedback with the management team and implement corrective action if needed
- Help to create an atmosphere in all properties that meets and exceeds guest and owner expectations according to our set quality control standards
- Work with Technology and Facilities Manager to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal policies, procedures, and regulations including all OSHA requirements
- Co-Host OSHA required training for all applicable employees annually and one on one for new hires
- Co-Host safety meetings and rotate committee members from different departments
- Monitor and approve departmental employee schedules and authorize overtime when needed with oversight from Director
- Work with the Director of Operational Excellence to ensure that all new hires receive a proper orientation of the company and that appropriate training is provided
- Attend hospitality training sessions to help maintain current knowledge of operational trends in the vacation rental industry
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably with an emphasis in management, business, finance, etc. OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2) years of experience in the Vacation Rental Industry, preferably in Operations
- Strong organizational skills

- Strong business communication skills
- Must successfully pass pre-employment screening
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
