POSITION SUMMARY:
Join us as our Accounting Clerk and bring your analytical expertise and precise work to the team. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, you will have the opportunity to learn and start your career.
In this position, you will process checks, timesheets, and other A/R and A/P transactions, answer phones, run daily errands, and reconcile bank statements as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process checks by entering information daily into the accounting system, balance entries and ensure proper bank deposits are completed.
- Process timesheets, invoices, owner bills, and other AR and AP transactions by following departmental processes and procedures.
- Answer phones and direct inquiries to necessary staff.
- Assist in both internal and external inquiries into invoice payments, receivables, expenditures, and other accounting transactions.
- Run errands daily – drop off mail, go to Courthouse to record documents, take deposits to banks and other errands as needed.
- Filing of all paid invoices, deposits, journal entries, bank statements, and annual upkeep of files.
- Assist with related special projects, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Successful at working independently.
- Valid driver’s license and able to be insured
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Salary: $22 - $26 based on experience and achievement

Schedule: Regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with the flexibility to work overtime as needed.
